Welcome to Teaching and Learning at UCT!

This site will grow into the site to visit for all you need to know about teaching and learning at UCT. At present it includes the podcasts and presentations of the First Conference on Teaching and Learning and a gallery of photos from that event.

What next:
In the next few months information will be added about new structures for teaching and Learning at UCT, the role of the DVC, Faculties, CHED and various committees. This site will also include all information about prizes, awards and grants focused on enhancing and developing Teaching and Learning.

Grants and Awards

Three opportunities have become available to offer support and recognition to teaching development at UCT. Two of these are new funding opportunities for supporting educational development work aimed at improving the effectiveness of teaching at UCT. The Third is a competitive award for excellence in educational practice involving groups of staff that used to be administered by CHED. Application forms are available.
